The TOUR, its players, tournaments, volunteers and sponsors are united in making an indelible mark in each community they visit, leaving it better off than before they came. The PGA TOUR has generated more than 1 Billion in charitable giving since the first donation was made in 1938. It is a commitment unparalleled in professional sports.
Being owned and operated by the PGA TOUR, each TPC Club activates that same charitable mission at various local and national levels all throughout the year.
At a national level, TPC Las Vegas participates in the America Supports You campaign. Each year, TPC Las Vegas and TPC Summerlin host a multi-course fundraising event which has raised over $100,000 for the men and women in our armed forces. Funds raised by this event are dispersed equally to three beneficiaries: Homes for Our Troops, Wounded Warriors Project and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
In addition, TPC Las Vegas is the co-host to the PGA Tour’s annual Fry’s.com Open. Buy utilizing our rent free venue, the Fry’s.com Open has generated over 24 million dollars since its inception. This money goes directly back to community beneficiaries such as Camp Sunshine, a much needed escape for children with terminal illnesses.
At a local, and more intimate level, TPC Las Vegas partners with the Candlelighter’s to provide a free venue for their annual golf outing. Through the Candlelighter’s efforts, over $100,000 is raised each year for the Nevada Cancer Institute.
