TPC Deere Run encompasses nearly 380 acres of land along the banks of the majestic Rock River. The property has had a story past having been home to Sauk Indians, John Deere descendants and world class Arabian Horses. The property is now home to TPC Deere Run, ranked #56 in America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses by Golf Digest and #5 in the state of Illinois by Golfweek Magazine.

Course Maintenance
Aerification at TPC Deere Runs takes place in the Spring and Fall in order to keep our turf in optimal playing condition. Following aerification the greens surfaces are topdressed with a light coat of sand in order to fill in the holes and to help smooth the surface for putting. Because this process involves growing new grass the greens are not in their usual condition for a few days while they recover completely. TPC Deere Run is still in great shape and very playable after aerification and we encourage players to call the Golf Shop prior to playing this time of year in order to be given our assessment of the conditioning.
