Giving back is at the heart of the PGA TOUR. Under the auspices of PGA TOUR Charities, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code, tournaments on the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour – many of them held at TPCs – annually generate millions of dollars for more than 2,000 charities and countless individuals worldwide. Contributions to PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Created by TOUR player Phil Mickelson, Birdies for the Brave is the PGA TOUR’s primary vehicle for supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. TPCs support players’ efforts by staging fundraising events that have raised millions of dollars for six 501(c)(3) non-profit military homefront groups accredited by the U.S. Department of Defense’s America Supports You program:
