Do I have to be a member to play?
No, you can play both THE PLAYERS Stadium Course and Dye’s Valley Course, by either being a guest of the Sawgrass Golf Resort and Spa, A Marriott Resort, or you can book starting times at TPC Sawgrass within 14 Days by contacting the TPC Sawgrass Golf Reservations Department at (904) 273-3430 or book your reservation online. Memberships are available, offering discounts on golf and dining. For additional information on our excellent membership opportunities, please call (904) 273-3235. What is your dress code?
Appropriate attire is required and must be observed at all times. Denim, bathing attire, T-shirts, gym shorts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, cut-off shorts or denim, short shorts, tennis outfits, and other dress of a similar nature is not appropriate. Shorts may be worn but must be of Bermuda length, and men must wear collared shirts. Women are allowed to wear collarless attire.
What is your cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy for guest play is 48 hours. This policy is strictly enforced.
Can I bring my own food and beverage to the course?
TPC Sawgrass serves a wide variety of food and beverage; therefore personal products are not permitted.
Can I wear metal spikes?
TPC Sawgrass strongly recommends the use of metal spike alternatives and specifically prohibits the use of metal spikes at the facility. Alternative spikes are available in the Golf Shop.
How long should it take to play the course?
TPC Sawgrass PLAYERS Stadium Course is rated at 4 1/2 hours, depending on scheduled starting time. Our staff cares about pace of play slower groups will be monitored to ensure timeliness.
Are there caddies available?
Yes, there are forecaddies and walking caddies available. Caddies are mandatory on
THE PLAYERS Stadium and Dye's Valley Courses for resort guests and unaccompanied member's guest play. Caddies are not required on Dye's Valley during the Summer Season. The suggested gratuity for a forecaddie is $20 per player, based on the level of service provided.
When do the courses close prior to THE PLAYERS Championship?
THE PLAYERS Stadium Course will close on Monday, April 13th in preparation for THE PLAYERS and reopen on Wednesday, May 13th. The Dye's Valley Course will close on Sunday May 3rd and reopen on Tuesday, May 12th.
When will the next PLAYERS Championship be?
Championship Week, May 3-9, 2010. Practice rounds begin on Monday, May 3, 2010. Thursday May 6, 2010 will be the first round of competition.
