How many golf courses are at TPC SAWGRASS?
We have two 18-hole golf courses at TPC SAWGRASS. THE PLAYERS Stadium Course designed by Pete Dye, and Dye's Valley Course co-designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed.

What is the minimum number of players to host a shotgun golf event?
The minimum number of players a golf group can have for a shotgun event is 40 players.

What is the maximum number of players in order to have a shotgun golf event?
The maximum number of players a golf group can have for a shotgun event is 144 players per golf course.

What is the minimum number of players to be considered a golf group?
You must have 12 or more players to be considered a golf group to receive laser printed cart plates, scorecards, scoreboards, etc. and is included with your golf fee.

What type of golf format is played most with larger groups?
A scramble golf format is the most popular golf format, especially with larger groups. A scramble is a team format consisting of 4 players. Each player shall tee off and the best tee shot is then selected. From the point of the best tee shot, all four players will then play the teams second shot. This format will continue until the ball is holed. If your team only has three players, alternate playing the teams fourth shot between players.

When do I need to have my golf outing pairings to TPC Sawgrass?
In order to make your event the best possible, we require that pairing and all other information be presented to TPC Sawgrass, no later than 48 hours prior to your date of play. This will ensure that TPC staff can devote full attention to your guests upon arrival, addressing any needs.

What items do we rent and what are the rates?
TPC Sawgrass rents golf clubs and shoes. Although we have a vast inventory, it is important for any group contact to notify us as soon as possible with requested We offer two different sets of rental clubs. Titleist 755 irons, Titleist 905R and 585H woods, with a Scotty Cameron putter for $75.00 plus tax. We also offer King Cobra FP irons, King Cobra F Speed woods, with a Red X putter for $75.00 plux tax. All rentals include a four pack of Titleist golf balls. Shoe rentals are $20.00 plus tax.

How long will it take for my group to play?
Depending on the number of players, pace of play usually averages between 4 1/2 hours and 5 hours.

What is the dress code at TPC Sawgrass?
Proper golf attire must be worn by players. Jeans, swimming attire, t-shirts, gym shorts, running shorts, tank tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, cut-off shorts, short-shorts, and other dress of similar nature are inappropriate on the golf course. Recommended length of shorts is Bermuda length.
