Giving back is at the heart of the PGA TOUR. Under the auspices of PGA TOUR Charities, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code, tournaments on the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour – many of them held at TPCs – annually generate millions of dollars for more than 2,000 charities and countless individuals worldwide. Contributions to PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. celebrated a milestone in 2005 when it reached the billion dollar mark in charitable giving since 1938, with its second billion dollars close behind.

PGA TOUR Charities, Inc.’s charitable outreach programs have included the U.S. Golf Tsunami Relief Fund, the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, the Champions Tour for the Cure and 9/11 relief efforts, among many others.  The PGA TOUR’s TPCs complement these efforts by focusing on four primary philanthropic and community outreach programs:

Adopted Wounded Warrior, a program in which each TPC adopts a local wounded warrior and provides them with a complimentary membership. For more information, click here.

Make-A-Wish/Golf Wish VIP Experiences, a program designed to provide the families of children with life-threatening illnesses unique, behind-the-scenes experiences during PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour tournaments.

Adopt-A-Charity, a program in which each TPC become aligned with a non-profit organization in their community and conducts fundraising on their behalf. For more information, click here.
