Course Record : 60 (-11) set by Mark Calcavecchia, 2001; Grant Waite, 1996

It was The Shot Heard Round the World. In 1997, Tiger Woods--just 21 years old at the time--let loose on a hole-in-one eagle on the par-3 16th. It, along with moments such as three-time champion Mark Calcavecchia's PGA TOUR record 72-hole score of 256 in 2001, has helped define the event since its move to the TPC Scottsdale in 1987. Before that--and dating back to '32-- the event was held at either the Phoenix or Arizona Country Club.
