TPC Scottsdale Debuts New Caddie Program on November 1, 2006

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - AUGUST 16, 2006

Home to the PGA TOUR's FBR Open, the majestic TPC Scottsdale will help bring to life the PGA TOUR experience by launching its new Caddie Program on November 1.

Managed by Pinehurst, North Carolina based Caddie Master, which manages caddie programs at premier golf properties nationwide including the TPC Sawgrass, Pebble Beach, and Augusta National, TPC Scottsdale's new Caddie Program is designed to help every golfer experience what it is to be a TOUR player. Two special options will be available, one is Full Caddies which will provide all the traditional services such as carrying bags, offering shot selection advice, raking bunkers, spotting wayward shots, reading greens, tending pins, cleaning balls and getting yardage, in addition to educating golfers on the history and heritage of golf and the TOUR. Second option is our complimentary Fore Caddy program which will provide the same services above except carrying bags. Caddies will serve as Ambassadors of the TPC Scottsdale and the FBR Open, sharing stories about past competitors and pointing out locations on the course where memorable moments from past tournaments have taken place.

"We are very excited about launching our new Caddie Program, which will help elevate the enjoyment of the game for golfers, as well as help them experience what it may feel like to be a TOUR player competing on the Stadium Course during the FBR Open," said TPC Scottsdale General Manager Bill Grove.

Set in the Sonoran Desert surrounded by the majestic McDowell Mountains, the TPC Scottsdale opened in 1987 and quickly earned acclaim as one of the best golf resorts in America. The Club features two world-class championship layouts: the par-71, 7,216-yard Stadium Course which serves as home to the largest spectator event on the PGA TOUR, the FBR Open (formerly the Phoenix Open); and the par-70, 6,423-yard Desert Course, named by Fox Sports Net-Arizona as the "Best Kept Secret in the Valley." Golf Digest gave the TPC Scottsdale "Four = Stars for Places to Stay in America" for its superb golf and variety of upscale amenities. TPC Scottsdale is also partnered with the "AAA Five-Diamond" Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and Willow Stream Spa for the ultimate resort experience located adjacent to the Stadium course.

Both of the TPC Scottsdale's courses have been recognized for their environmental excellence by receiving certification by Audubon International as Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Systems. The Club is also known for its philanthropic activities both at the Club and in the local community.

In addition to the FBR Open, which benefits The Phoenix Thunderbirds, the TPC Scottsdale hosts more than 30 charity golf tournaments each year and raises more than $1 million annually for local non-profit organizations. In 2006 alone, the FBR Open raised $6.9 million for The Thunderbirds - setting an all-time record in PGA TOUR history.

The TPC Scottsdale is located at 17020 N. Hayden in Scottsdale. For more information, please call (480) 585-4334.

About the TPC Network

Managed by PGA TOUR subsidiary PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc.., the Tournament Players Club (TPC) Network is comprised of 23 premier private, resort and daily fee golf properties designed by some of golf's most notable architects. Each TPC has hosted or has been designed to host TOUR-sanctioned events.

Since the TPC at Sawgrass first opened its world-renowned Stadium Course in the fall of 1980, TPC's have provided rent-free venues for PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour tournaments, helping to boost purses and increase charitable donations to grass roots non-profit organizations. At the same time, TPC's have provided recreational golfers with the unique opportunity to test their skills on the same layouts where the world's best golfers compete.

Distinctive in character but consistent in quality, TPC's are known for their outstanding conditioning, amenities and commitment to environmental excellence. To date, 21 of the 23 TPC's are Certified as Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary Systems. The TPC Network also is distinguished by its commitment to give back to local communities through support of charitable and community-based programs. For more information, visit www.tpc.com.
