Percent Possible Sunshine (Year) = 86%

Get Comfortable: A few words about the Comfort Index
The old saying goes, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." Well, when it comes to calculating comfort index - the "apparent" temperature (the temperature your body actually feels) - it's both the heat and the humidity. For example, if the air temperature is 85 degrees and the humidity is 20%, the apparent temperature is 82 degrees -3 degrees cooler. To the other extreme, if the air temperature is 85 degrees and the humidity is 90%, it actually feels like 102 degrees - 17 degrees warmer.

Scottsdale, AZ weather offers relatively low humidity year-round. Daily humidity readings tallied by the National Climatic Data Center show average ranges of 11 - 30% during the drier spring and summer months, and 33 - 66% during the winter months. The result - clear, dry air that usually feels several degrees cooler than the actual temperature. It's the perfect climate for all the outdoor activities that Scottsdale has to offer!
